In Search of Tagging 2.0

My main question is:
And how can we keep tagging as simple as it is today (see Rashmi Sinha in this regard), but make it more precise and powerful in its daily use and reuse. As Arnaud says Lists and Tagclouds are not the solution.

Tags and 2D Barcodes
For an explanation what QR Codes are, check out my interview with Elisabeth (mp3) in german.
Some call QR Codes "Tags" (like in physical tagging), but whereas a tag is defining something, the QR Code gives you access to something. But naturally I understand that one can talk about physical tagging, as you do not consider the QR code as important, but the resource which it gives access to. Solely, the resource is normally a post or a note and not only a tag.

Hey :)
Ok so ... tagging ... basic steps:
- we tag with QR webcontent
- we tag even microformats present and future ones
- we tag even our rss channels or whatever data source
Who reads them? any response to that? i mean interprets the QR code. cuz i don't see any cross site engine that would fetch (even if the image is small) and process the data. server side scripting engine? that would be time consuming and mostly resource consuming.
future Google? or other major tagsonomy-aware data providers?

Mr. South,
Sorry, this post can be confusing if you don't know about QR Codes.
You read QR Codes with your mobile phone:)
