The 2002 Gaja Promis(the third vintage from the Ca'Marcanda property) is a blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah and 10% Sangiovese. Light garnet in color with aromas of raspberries, sour cherries, earth and stone complemented by deep red fruit and zingy bright bing cherry flavors. The finish is soft and supple supported by firm tannins and racy acidity. A real winner from Gaja's new property!
